Buddon
At Carnoustie
Peter Alliss and Dave Thomas designed the Buddon on ground drawn from the former ladies’ course and Ministry of Defence land. Its hole names recall the military association of the property.2

Buddon’s military ground and later expansion
The eighteen-hole course opened in 1981. Two new holes were introduced in 2014, bringing Buddon to the Burnside’s length and par while altering the youngest of Carnoustie’s three courses.1
