Every mark has an owner.
The American Golf Archive documents the identities of American golf clubs and championships. Those identities belong to the institutions that created them. This page explains how they appear here and how to ask for a change.
Club and championship marks
Club names, crests, logos, seals, and championship marks shown in the Archive are the trademarks or copyrighted works of their respective owners. They appear only to identify those institutions and to document their history.
Their appearance here does not mean that any club, championship, association, or governing body sponsors, endorses, or is affiliated with the Archive. The Archive is an independent project, free to explore, and does not sell merchandise bearing any club's marks.
Corrections, credit, and removal
If you represent a club or other rights holder and would like a mark corrected, credited differently, replaced with better artwork, or removed, write to archive@americangolfarchive.org with the club's name and the address of the page.
Every request receives a reply within five business days. A removal request from a club or its authorized representative is honored.
The Archive's own marks
American Golf Archive™ and the AGA monogram™ are trademarks of Christopher Whitelam. Please do not use them in a way that suggests a connection with the Archive.
The Archive's original writing, research, photography, and design are protected by copyright and may not be reproduced without permission.
