Colorado Golf Club
Bill Coore and Ben Crenshaw began construction in spring 2005 on land whose natural shape required relatively little earthmoving. The Club records about 75,000 cubic yards moved, much of it to improve visibility.1

Colorado Golf Club design and history
The design’s Snow Bunkers came from a particularly local observation: patterns left by melting snow suggested their forms. Rather than impose an abstract shape on the site, the designers used the land’s seasonal appearance as a guide.1
