Aerie
At Hazeltine National Golf Club
Aerie opened at Hazeltine in 2025 as a ten-hole short course. Its name means an eagle’s nest: the Club connected that image with the berms around the developing course and its own eagle symbolism.1

An eagle’s nest for a shorter round
The project followed a partnership with Love Golf Design. Hazeltine’s opening account names architect Scot Sherman, Mark Love and Dru Love among those who brought it to completion. Undulating greens, wide areas of closely cut grass and little rough leave room for different ways to play short shots.1
