Park Country Club

Colt and Alison were commissioned in 1926 to design Park’s Williamsville course on the former Klopp estate. Ganson Depew struck the opening shot on August 28, 1928.¹

Park Country Club design and history

Only six years later the course hosted the PGA Championship. Paul Runyan won the 1934 title, giving the newly established Williamsville grounds an early place in major championship history.¹
