Seaside

Tom Fazio’s redesign joined the original 1929 Colt and Alison Seaside nine with the former Marshside course. The combined layout moves through dunes, native grasses and an exposed coastal setting in which wind alters the playing problem.¹

Two nines joined at Seaside

The second hole concentrates those conditions around water: trouble flanks the drive, while a peninsula green narrows the margin for an approach to a back hole location. The natural setting enters the strategy of individual shots.¹
