Quaker Ridge Golf Club
Quaker Ridge took shape in Scarsdale in 1916, when a group of businessmen bought the financially troubled Metropolitan Golf Links. Its predecessor had opened a nine-hole course on 125 acres the year before. A Tudor-style clubhouse followed in 1923.1

From Metropolitan Golf Links to Quaker Ridge
Competition became part of the Club’s identity through Byron Nelson’s victory in the 1936 Metropolitan Open, the 1997 Walker Cup and the 2018 Curtis Cup. The latter two brought the amateur teams of the United States and Great Britain and Ireland to the same Westchester property.1
