In the late 1990s, Vinny Giles, C.B. Robertson III and Charles K. Staples imagined a golf facility serving the Richmond community on a daily-fee basis. The project evolved into a private Club as its founders refined their plans.1

A daily-fee idea becomes Kinloch
Membership invitations began in July 1999. The course opened with 110 founding members on April 14, 2001; a Tudor-style clubhouse followed in 2002 and the first overnight cottage in 2005.1
