Crooked Stick Golf Club
Crooked Stick began in 1964 when Pete Dye and a group of sixty Indianapolis-area golfers organized to buy a flat cornfield. Pete and Alice Dye developed the course into an expression of the golf they admired in Britain.1

Its championship history later included John Daly’s victory in the 1991 PGA Championship and Lauri Merten’s win in the 1993 U.S. Women’s Open. The Club hosted the Solheim Cup in 2005.1
