A Cashiers club devoted to golf
Founding members included golfers who also belonged to Augusta National. The Club’s account describes an ambition to create an Augusta-like course in a mountain setting, realized in the course designed by Tom Fazio.1
The 2013 U.S. Senior Amateur brought a national championship to Wade Hampton. Doug Hanzel defeated Pat O’Donnell 3 and 2 in the final.3
