Medinah Country Club
Medinah was founded in 1924 by Chicago Shriners. Its ambitions extended well beyond golf: by 1929 the grounds accommodated equestrian activities, polo, grass tennis, tobogganing and a ski jump.1

Medinah Country Club history
Three courses opened in succession. Tom Bendelow’s No. 1 welcomed play in 1925, No. 2 followed in 1926, and No. 3 opened in 1928. The Club established its caddie programme in 1930.1
