Trump Turnberry
Turnberry’s Station Hotel opened on May 17, 1906 as railway companies developed coastal resorts to attract passengers. James Miller designed the white-walled, red-roofed building.1

A railway hotel becomes Turnberry
Successive owners expanded the property’s accommodation and leisure facilities. A major hotel renovation preceded the 2009 Open; after the Trump Organization’s 2014 purchase, further work changed the hotel, clubhouse and golf courses.1
