Rock Creek’s modern history begins with a 1919 purchase of former Grant-Kohrs land by Williams and Pauly. Their holding was divided in 1948, and the Rock Creek Cattle Company name followed in 1971.1

Bill Foley acquired the property in 2004. Its subsequent golf development joined a working-ranch landscape whose ownership history long preceded the course.1
