Olympia Fields’ present course names retain traces of a larger numbered system. The South was originally No. 1; the North was No. 4. Their architects, Tom Bendelow and Willie Park Jr., gave the Club distinct golfing inheritances.1

Its competitive history spans professional and amateur golf. Danielle Kang won the 2017 Women’s PGA Championship here, and the 2020 BMW Championship ended with Jon Rahm defeating Dustin Johnson in a playoff.1
