Sahalee Country Club
Sahalee emerged from two groups exploring a new club in 1965, including members of Inglewood and Broadmoor. They combined in 1966 and acquired land on the Sammamish Plateau the following year. Ted Robinson designed the course, with Louie Schmidt overseeing construction.1

Two founding groups meet on the plateau
The Club later prepared for national competition through Rees Jones’s work on the North and South nines in 1996. The 1998 PGA Championship was followed by the 2010 U.S. Senior Open and Women’s PGA Championships in 2016 and 2024, extending its major-championship history across several tours.1
