Colorado Golf Club grew from instructor Mike McGetrick’s ambition to build a championship course. Working with land planner Ric Buckton, he identified the Parker property in 2003; investors completed the purchase the following year.1

Colorado Golf Club history
Members first played during a soft opening on September 30, 2006. At the formal opening on June 16, 2007, Ben Crenshaw played a ceremonial round while he and Bill Coore explained their work to the spectators.1
